West Shore Home® Provides 102-Year-Old WWII Veteran with a New Shower through West Shore for Warriors Initiative
Mechanicsburg, Pa. – West Shore Home®, one of the fastest growing home remodeling companies in the nation, has gifted U.S. Army veteran Walter Puff of Stevens, Pa. with a new, safety enhanced walk-in shower. Puff lives independently and the new shower will make a significant difference in his day-to-day life.
Puff was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Forces during WWII. He served from September 1942 to December 1945. He was responsible for loading 500-pound bombs onto aircraft and was stationed in the U.S., India, and the Island of Tinian in the Pacific Campaign.
Through its West Shore for Warriors initiative, West Shore Home is removing Puff’s fiberglass tub and replacing it with a walk-in shower, including a teak shower seat, six-way magnetic handheld wand and grab bars and for safety.
