A little prep goes a long way toward a smooth installation day. Here's what to do depending on your project type:
Bathroom projects
- Empty your vanity completely — inside and on top — so our team can remove it easily.
- Remove all shampoo, cleaning bottles, and accessories from the shower area.
- Take down towels and rugs from the work area.
Flooring projects
- Remove heirlooms, valuables, and personal items from the rooms being worked on.
- If large cabinets or bookcases need to be moved, please empty them ahead of time so our installers can relocate them safely.
Window & door projects
- Move all objects within three feet of the window or door.
- Remove blinds or curtains from the windows/doors being replaced.
- If your door has any personal items (knockers, peepholes, etc.), please remove those as well.
-
Important: Reference the acceptable cleaning materials sheet provided at your installation. Only use approved, non-abrasive cleaners on your acrylic or modern composite walls.
Walls
- Spray your chosen approved cleaner onto the walls.
- Using a non-abrasive cloth, wipe down all surfaces including corners.
- Rinse thoroughly with the shower head or a spray bottle of water.
Drain cap
- Pop the cap up using a flathead screwdriver or similar tool.
- Rinse under warm water and wipe with an approved cleaner.
- Rinse once more, then place it back over the drain and press firmly until it snaps into place.
Shower head
- Spray approved cleaner on the face of the shower head.
- Gently scrub the face and nozzles with a soft cloth.
- Wipe down once more using warm water.
-
In rare cases, your shower door may need an adjustment. To help us identify the issue quickly, we'll need a few specific photos:
- Full door with a gap visible — Open the doors about two inches and take a photo of the entire door, showing the gap between the glass and frame.
- Glass overlap (two angles) — Where the glass panels overlap, take one photo from inside the shower and one from outside.
- Bottom of the glass — From inside the shower, take a photo of the bottom edge of the glass panels.
- Any other issue — If there's a specific problem not covered above, snap a photo of that area as well.
These photos help our team determine exactly what materials or adjustments are needed. Submit them along with your service ticket below.

If your grab bar cap comes off, it's an easy fix — no tools required:
- Clean the area — Make sure the ring around the mounting plate is free of debris and water. Wipe it with a towel if necessary.
- Slide the cap back on — Slide the cap along the grab bar back over the mounting plate.
- Align and press — Make sure the cap is flush against the mounting plate (not offset). Press firmly on both sides until you feel a snap.
- Verify — Check that all sides have snapped back into place. You're all set.
-
You'll need a flathead screwdriver or similar tool with a small, flat, narrow end.
To remove:
- Gently place the screwdriver head under the drain cap along the small rectangular notches.
- Carefully pop the cap up by applying pressure on the other end of the screwdriver.
To reinstall:
- Place the cap over the center of the drain.
- Press down firmly until it snaps into place.

A deferred interest loan means no interest accrues to your account if the full promotional balance is paid off before the promo period ends. If any balance remains after that date, interest is charged retroactively from the original purchase date.
Not the same as 0% APR. A true 0% APR loan never charges interest during the promo window, regardless of whether you pay in full. Always read the terms on your finance agreement. Our finance team can walk you through which program fits your situation.
-
We work with a wide range of lenders, so approval isn't limited to customers with perfect credit. Most of our plans require no money down to begin your project.
Our finance specialists can review options privately during your free in-home consultation.
-
Select finance programs allow deferred first payments, giving you breathing room between project completion and your first due date. Availability depends on lender and approval tier — ask your consultant which plans qualify.
-
Our lender network is broader than most single-contractor programs, which often means we can find a path when others can't. There's no cost to apply and no impact to your credit to check pre-qualified options with most of our partners.
-
Payment timing depends on your finance program. In most cases, your first payment is due roughly 30–60 days after project completion. Your lender will mail a welcome packet with your exact due date and payment options.
-
Our Price Assurance Guarantee means the quote you receive at your consultation is the price you pay — no surprise add-ons, no upcharges once work begins. If scope changes mid-project at your request, we'll walk through any adjustment with you before proceeding.
