West Shore Home Donates School Supplies to LaFayette Elementary School

LANCASTER, Pa. – West Shore Home, a leader in the home improvement industry in the use of technology and business systems, today announced it has donated 544 drawstring bags filled with school supplies to Lafayette Elementary in the School District of Lancaster. The donation was organized by West Shore Home employees who worked with local volunteers from the United Way at its Lancaster showroom to pack and load a company truck.

To help kick off the beginning of the 2019-2020 school year, the drawstring bags were distributed today to Lafayette Elementary’s students and staff.

“West Shore Home is happy to help make a significant difference for students in our local communities,” said B.J.  Werzyn, owner of West Shore Home. “We want to be exceptional teammates in every aspect of what we do. Whether we are supporting our employees, or supporting our community, being exceptional teammates is at the core of what we do every day.”

“I’m so excited that every student in my building is going to have a brand-new backpack,” said Marian Grill, Principal at Lafayette Elementary. “It’s going to be filled all the supplies they need to carry them through the school year. I just can’t thank West Shore Home and the United Way enough.”

West Shore Home’s philanthropic mission is to continuously support various groups in the communities they serve through corporate donations, sponsorships and companywide events.
