West Shore Home® Partners with MI Windows and Doors in Donating $100,000 to Four Diamonds to Fight Pediatric Cancer

We are proud to partner with MI Windows and Doors to donate $100,000 to Four Diamonds. During the month of September, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a portion of all proceeds from West Shore Home window sales nationwide were donated. The funds are benefiting Four Diamonds at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital, the Pennsylvania based philanthropy that supports world-class treatment and lifesaving research for childhood cancer.

Pediatric cancer is one of the leading causes of death in children ages five to 14 according to data from the CDC. In true West Shore Home fashion to #DoTheRightThingAlways, helping in the fight to concur childhood cancer was an easy decision. “Most everyone knows someone who has been touched by cancer. We are proud to work with MI Windows and Doors to support pediatric cancer research,” said B.J. Werzyn, CEO, West Shore Home. “Four Diamonds makes such a difference for families in need of support, especially at a time when they need to focus on the well-being of their child. Our core values at West Shore Home insist we do the right thing always, and we are thrilled to be part of this effort.”

Four Diamonds supports a robust pediatric cancer research program at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital and Penn State College of Medicine, which is dedicated to seeking improved treatments and cures for childhood cancer to benefit kids in our community and around the world.
