West Shore Home Founder B.J. Werzyn Has Strong Ties To Penn State Athletics
As West Shore Home expanded, Werzyn has remained closely tied to Penn State, backing the university’s NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) programs and investing in tech talent pipelines through the College of Information Sciences and Technology. He continues to play an active role in the alumni community, working to support the school as higher education evolves.

That same commitment ultimately led to Werzyn’s decision to make a historic $50 million donation to Penn State and to link West Shore Home with Beaver Stadium. To him, the move reflects more than corporate visibility—it embodies his passion for both his company and his alma mater. In Werzyn’s words, naming the field is “a statement about what’s possible when you build something extraordinary in Pennsylvania.”
