West Shore Home began in 2006 as a small window and door remodeling company in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Founded by B.J. Werzyn, the company was built around a simple idea: homeowners deserved a remodeling experience that was faster, easier, and more reliable than the industry standard.

Over two decades, West Shore Home expanded from a local business into a national home remodeling company serving homeowners across more than 25 states. Along the way, we introduced new products, invested in proprietary technology, opened dozens of branch locations, and completed hundreds of thousands of home remodeling projects. That growth was built on a workforce of more than 3,000 team members, including employee installers. Yet through every new market and milestone, our founding belief remains the same: deliver on what's promised, stand behind every job, and treat each home like it's our own.

As the company grew, West Shore Home identified an opportunity to rethink how remodeling projects were delivered. Many homeowners associated remodeling with long timelines, complicated scheduling, and inconsistent communication.

We developed a more streamlined approach that emphasized efficiency, transparency, and standardized installation practices.

This shift laid the foundation for West Shore Home's national expansion of home remodeling services but kept dedicated local teams at the center of every project we complete.

2006

Founded in Mechanicsburg

B.J. Werzyn opens West Shore Home as a window and door remodeler in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. At that time named West Shore Window and Door.

2014

Reimagining the bathroom

The company expands its services and introduces a more streamlined approach to bath and shower installations.

2018

Regional expansion

Added 8 markets across the Carolinas, Georgia, and the southeast

2021

National expansion

Accelerated growth into a 12 state footprint and a new corporate headquarter.

2022

Moving west

8 more markets added, including westward expansion in cities like Phoenix.

2023

Technology takes a front seat

Our scan to plan technology gives homeowners an even better experience, removing the guesswork of manual measurement.

2024

A bigger vision for the home

West Shore Home expands into full bathroom remodeling, adds a dedicated technology team, and our first Chief Data & AI Officer.

2025

Innovation & product growth

Continued investment in proprietary technology, digital measurement systems, and operational innovation.Full home flooring also launched into homes.

2026

Celebrating twenty years

Serving homeowners in markets from Boston to Phoenix, we mark 20 years with the launch of our exclusive luxury line of showers.
