West Shore Home Provides Cincinnati area Veteran with a New Shower through West Shore for Warriors™ Initiative
Mechanicsburg, Pa. – West Shore Home, one of the fastest growing home remodeling companies in the nation, has gifted U.S. Marine Corps veteran Troy Smith of Maineville, Ohio with a new, safety enhanced walk-in shower. Corp. Smith served in Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm as a field radio operator.
During his service, Smith earned the Kuwait Liberation Medal, National Defense Service Medal and the Southwest Asia Service Medal with two stars. “Desert Storm was an experience that I will never forget. Many good and bad memories,” said Smith.
Through its West Shore for Warriors™ initiative, West Shore Home replaced Smith’s existing tub with a walk-in shower, including a bench shower seat, six-way magnetic handheld wand and grab bars for safety.
“I’ve needed a safe, walk-in shower for years because of numerous hip surgeries. My wife and I will now be able to shower safely,” said Smith. “It is a blessing, and I would like to thank West Shore Home for this life changing gift.”
