West Shore Home Participates in Military Makeover on Lifetime Network
Nov. 11, 2021 – Mechanicsburg, Pa. – West Shore Home, the fastest growing home remodeling company in the United States, has gifted two brand new, modern showers to a deserving veteran family through Military Makeover with Montel airing on Lifetime Network.
West Shore Home is dedicated to giving back to veterans across the country through outreach programs and veteran hiring and training. Participating in the show was a natural fit for the company’s mission.
Through Military Makeover with Montel, Joey and Joy Pryor of Charlotte, N.C. received an entire home makeover, with West Shore Home focusing on the bathrooms. The company replaced their old tubs with new, modern walk-in showers to fit their active lifestyle.
Joey is a U.S. Army veteran who was seriously injured during his third tour in Afghanistan. He is a Purple Heart and Bronze Star Medal recipient. Joy is a U.S. Air Force veteran who served at stations around the country. Both struggle with PTSD and physical injuries and were looking for a safer bath solution.
“We both have knee conditions, so not having to hurdle over the side of a tub and being able to easily walk in and take a shower, it’s changed our life,” said Joy Pryor. “I have also back issues, so not having the crouch down and clean a tub, it’s changed everything. It’s so easy to clean and I love how modern it looks.”
