West Shore Home Donates $10,000 to the Toys for Tots Foundation

Mechanicsburg, Pa. – West Shore Home, one of the fastest growing home remodeling companies in the nation, announced today that it is donating $10,000 to the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation. The donation accompanies the more than 2,400 toys collected for the Foundation by West Shore Home employees across its 38 locations nationwide.

They step up year after year to make sure children across the country have a special gift this holiday season.”

Since 2021, West Shore Home, an official partner of the Toys for Tots Foundation, has collected more than 8,500 toys and donated $30,000 to the Foundation.

“We are very pleased to welcome West Shore Home as a National Corporate Donor of the Marine Toys for Tots Campaign,” said retired Marine Colonel Ted Silvester, Vice President of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.  “With their generous support, we will be able to fulfill the holiday dreams of thousands of less fortunate children, who otherwise might have been forgotten.”

The Toys For Tots Foundation’s goal is to serve a record 10 million children this holiday season.

Toys for Tots

Toys for Tots, a 70-year national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides happiness and hope to disadvantaged children during each Christmas holiday season. The toys, books and other gifts collected and distributed by the Marines offer these children recognition, confidence and a positive memory for a lifetime. It is such experiences that help children become responsible citizens and caring members of their community.
