West Shore Home in the Lexington Community

The mission of West Shore for Warriors is to serve U.S. veterans, active military members, and their families. With our national footprint, West Shore Home is uniquely positioned to assist veterans in need.

U.S. Army Veteran Raymond Franklin is a 30-year military veteran who saw combat in the Vietnam War. Franklin went on to serve his country as a member of The Old Guard at Arlington National Cemetery. Through this elite Regiment he participated in ceremonial events and infantry duties. This included a deployment to the White House during Vietnam War protests to protect the White House and first family. Raymond and his wife Helga, whom he met while serving in Germany, were so excited for this shower.

The centerpiece of West Shore for Warriors is bath installations. Each year around Veterans Day, we provide a new bath or shower to select, deserving veterans. The initiative also encompasses veteran hiring, recruiting and training, and non-profit outreach such as the Marine Corps Toys for Tots and Wreaths Across America.
