Project Showcase: Entry Door Replacement in Pittsburgh, PA

Anthony and Judah of West Shore Home were tasked with replacing an outdated entry door and side light for a local couple. The project proved challenging from the start, but the duo was up for the task.

“The first thing we noticed was that the concrete threshold had eroded to the point that is was crumbling and falling apart,” said Anthony. “We had to use a grinder and mason blade to cut a cinder block in half so we could fit the new side light. Removing the block entirely wasn’t an option, as it would have left a large void in the threshold.”

This also required some cutting and shaving to not only make everything fit, but to also make the new door appealing and consistent with the décor of the home.

In just six hours’ time the project was complete, and the homeowners were thrilled with the look of their brand-new Mountain Berry entry door and side light.
